The PAC
The Political Action Committee (PAC)
Value Oregon Trail Education (VOTE) is a registered Oregon political action committee (PAC) comprised of concerned local citizens who are dedicated to supporting measures and candidates that will enable us to build a new high school for the Oregon Trail School District.
Why a PAC?
Prudence and state statute limit how far a school board can or should go to support a specific bond measure. Plus money spent to support a bond is money that is not being spent in the classroom. The PAC provides the means to do the following:

Due to the current overcrowding of the student population in Sandy High School in the Oregon Trail School District, the Value Oregon Trail Education Political Action Committee, hereafter referred to as PAC, has been created to promote the building of a new, larger, modern high school in the district.
The PAC will seek to achieve this goal through voter awareness and education efforts. The PAC will lobby community leaders, school board members and other leaders as appropriate.

The Time Is NOW!
The bond measure will:
Relieve overcrowding throughout the district
Be structured so new residents will help pay for the bond
Provide improved vocational and technology programs and equipment for student learning
Replace outdated heating, ventilation and electrical systems with "green" buildings that will save thousands of dollars a year in operating costs
